Getting ready for the show - the fly is out front - how cute is he?!
Carter - the cutest goat ever!!!
Carter being "swallowed"
Holding the cocoon
Singing "My chance to dance!!!"
Carter has done so well in pre-k this year. We are so proud of him, and so happy that he loves school. He has learned so much, has made good friends, and had an amazing teacher. This year has really been an answer to our prayers, and we are praying for continued blessings and believeing Jeremiah 29:11 for his future.
A few weeks ago, families were invited to watch as the class performed a production of "The Little Old Lady Who Swallowed a Fly" and "The Very Hungry Catepillar". Carter played the part of the goat (who swallowed the dog who swallowed the cat...). His teachers did such a good job with his costume - he was the world's most adorable goat! He was also excited to help hold the cocoon for the catepillar as she changed into a butterfly. :-) At the end of the show, the class did a song & dance about seeds growing into plants. Me being the huge sap I am, it made me teary-eyed because, like the seeds, my baby is growing and changing every day. Being his mom is one of my greatest blessings!
