Since spring break, Carter's class has taken 2 walking field trips! His class is learning about community helpers, so they visited helpers near the school. On the first field trip, we walked to the police & fire stations. They each gave us a tour and let us see their vehicles; it was so fun! On the second trip, we visited the post office where the kids bought a stamp and mailed themselves a letter they had written in class. Afterward, we went to a restaurant and cookie shop to buy a drink & a cookie. Very fun!!! I love being a part of Carter's school day and watching him in this environment. I am so proud! :-)
